Working with email Lists

 

The email List feature allows you to build and manage multiple email lists for e-marketing to your users.  Once the email lists have been created, you can select them when setting up newsletters.  When creating dynamic forms on your site for allowing visitors to submit information, if you include an email field on the form, you can select an email list which will automatically add the visitor to that specific email list.   

 

Create and email List
 

 

To create a  new email list, follow these steps:
 

  1. Click on the Communications  menu section..  

  2. Click the Email Lists link. The View email Lists page is opened  along with a list of all existing email lists.

  3. Click the Add link to add a new email list.  

  4. Enter the Type/ID.   

  5. Enter the email list Name.  

  6. Click Save to save the new email and return to the View email Lists page.  

Deleting an email List

 

To delete an email list, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Communications  menu section..  

  2. Click the Email Lists link. The View email Lists page is opened  along with a list of all existing email lists.

  3. Click the Delete link for the appropriate email list that you would like to delete.  

  4. A confirmation message will be displayed, to continue with the delete, click OK.

 

Adding Subscribers to an E-mail  List

 

To add subscribers to a  new email list, follow these steps:
 

  1. Click on the Communications  menu section..  

  2. Click the Email Lists link. The View email Lists page is opened  along with a list of all existing email lists.

  3. Click the View Subscribers link for the appropriate email list.  This will display the list of subscribers for the current email list.  

  4. Click the Add Independent Email link to add a new email to the list.  The New Independent Email Subscription screen is shown.  

  5.  Enter the Email Adress(es).  Multiple emails can be separated by a comma or semi-colon.

  6.  Select the user’s email format preference with the Receive Content as radio button:  HTML or Text.    

  7.  Click Save to save the new email and return to the View Subscribers for email List page.

Deleting a Subscriber from an email List

 

To add subscribers to a  new email list, follow these steps:

1. From the side menu pane, locate and click the Site Features menu. The menu will appear expanded.  

2. From the expanded Site Features menu, click the email Lists link. The View email Lists page is displayed along with a list of all existing email lists.

3. Click the View Subscribers link for the appropriate email list.  This will display the list of subscribers for the current email list.  

4. Click the Delete link next to the subscriber that you would like to delete.  

5. A confirmation message is displayed, to continue with the delete, click OK.
